Januar & Februar
Ein echtes Highlight direkt vor der Haustür: Nordlichter – einfach so, plötzlich über dem Haus 💫 Ein Moment, den ich so schnell nicht vergesse.
Und dieser Winter hatte es wirklich in sich: endlich mal wieder richtig viel Schnee – genug, um nochmal Kind zu sein und einen Schneemann zu bauen, mit tatkräftiger Unterstützung von Marcel. ⛄️
Weniger romantisch: eine gefühlt endlose Erkältungsphase… der Start ins Jahr hatte also wirklich alles dabei.
January & February
A real highlight right on our doorstep: northern lights – just like that, suddenly above the house 💫 A moment I won’t forget anytime soon.
And this winter really delivered: finally lots of snow again – enough to feel like a kid and build a snowman, with great support from Marcel. ⛄️
Less romantic: what felt like an endless season of colds… so the start of the year really had it all.

Ein Kurztrip nach London – und was soll ich sagen: einfach herrlich.
Kew Gardens, das Natural History Museum und Kensington Palace waren absolute Highlights.
Aber das Schönste: der Abstecher nach Brighton. Meine Cousine wiedersehen und diese kleine, lebendige Stadt lieben lernen – das bleibt besonders.

A short trip to London – and what can I say: simply wonderful.
Kew Gardens, the Natural History Museum and Kensington Palace were absolute highlights.
But the best part: the detour to Brighton. Seeing my cousin again and falling in love with this small, vibrant city – that one will stay with me.

Mit dem RSF ging es nach Mallorca – die anderen hauptsächlich auf dem Rennrad unterwegs, ich eher auf der ornithologischen Spur 🐦 /
Und was für eine Ausbeute: gleich drei neue Arten entdeckt!
Tüpfelsumpfhuhn, Kammblässhuhn und Purpurreiher – kleine Momente, die sich ganz groß anfühlen.

Off to Mallorca with RSF – the others mainly out on their road bikes, while I was following the ornithological trail 🐦
And what a result: three new species spotted!
Spotted crake, red-knobbed coot and purple heron – small moments that feel incredibly big.
